Rising Korean hamburger brand - WHAT THE BURGER

I like hamburgers. It's my one of favorite foods as it is fast, delicious and convenient. Here in Korea, we have alos many Hamburger restaurants from outside such as Mcdonald's, Burger king, shake shack, etc. I visit them very often and I also love some of Korean hamburger restaurants, too. Here is one good Korean hamburger restaurant called "WHAT THE BURGER".

 

In Korea, now there are many burger restaurant like this. This burger restaurant started from small town called Yangsan but now expanding its power to big cities. I like this restaurant and it's my regular now. Its name is WHAT THE BURGER. So fresh, unique and delicious.

 

Big cities like Seoul, Daejeon, Suwon don't have this restaurnat but there are some in Daegu, Kyoungjoo, Changwon city. I visited Daegu branch which is located near Bumeo subway station. I also visited the original one in Yangsan city. I knew that another branch opened in Daegu city.

 

The restaurant in Daegu city has 2 floors. There is a place to order and a long table on the first floor. We can see many tables on the second floor. The facilites are good and neat. It's very good place to enjoy the burgers. Here are the menu and prices.

 

There are five kinds of burgers in this restaurant. Its name is very unique. For example, "Sweet what the burger", "Full of meat shut the burger", "Scramble bomb sorry that I can't protect you burger", etc. This time, I ordered "Full of meat shut the burger" set. It's prices is 8,400 won (7 USD), 12,600 won for set (10.5 USD). 

 

 

There are various side menus, too. Fried potato, Cheese ball, Cheese stick, hash brown. You can also order side menus and enjoy them with burger. I ordered one side menu, cheese stick. It will be good choice to enjoy your burger with it. 

 

This is the famous burger of WHAT THE BURGER. They call this SUJE burger. "SUJE" means hand made. It means they don't get all food materials from the company. They cook everything in the kitchen on the spot from the beginning. So everything is fresh and high quality. That is why the price of burger is a little bit high.

 

First, I enjoyed the cheese stick. Very fresh and good. Fried potato is also good. The size is big and long. They fry it with fresh cooking oil. Before eating the hamburger, I usually have this. It's so delicious and enjoyable.

 

I can say fully filled burger. Every food material is very fresh. They put onion, pickled cucumber, tomato, lettuce, cheese and patty. In their own way, they cooked and served. I like the way and taste. It made me happy. I think there will be more branches in Seoul or another cities. When you visit Korea, if you have any chance to find this restaurant, experience Korean hamburger.
