Price of GODIVA chocolate in Korea Year 2023

If you are interested in Korea, you might want to know this, too. I am telling you the price of Godiva chocolate in Korea. Like other countries, there is one important day in February for couples. It's Valentine's day. A Korean woman also makes or buys chocolate and gives it to the one she loves. We can buy chocoate everywhere. When it gets near Valentine's day, we can see a lot of chocolate package at every convenience store a week earlier. But this year, I bought some special chocolate, GODIVA.

 

 

I visited GODIVA in a long time. I think I visit here once or twice a year for this kind of special day. As you know, Godiva chocolate is a bit expensive and I don't want to buy it very often even though I like it very much. Now the model is MINHO of SHINee. I could see many specially wrapped products for this year Valentine's day.

 

 

This is Godiva shop that I visited. It is in the big department store. I see 28 shops in Korea. Mostly they are in Seoul. In my city, there is only one Godiva shop in Shinsege department store. You can see "Belgium 1926 GODIVA" on the storefront sigh. Once people know this place, they will be regulars. 

 

I haven't tried another Godiva shops in Korea. This shop is not big but has many kinds of products. There are tables and chairs and people can sit and enjoy things here, too. However, most of people seem to visit here to buy chocolate for presents. Let's find out how much it is in Korea.

 

 

Godiva chocolate is not cheap but a little expensive, compared with another chocolate brands. It has a long history and world-wide famous chocolate brand. I can see Cube Truffles Collection - 12pcs 57,000 won(47 USD) and 16pcs 72,000 won(60 USD). Gold Discovery Collection is 15pcs 62,000 won(52 USD). In case of Gold Discovery Collection, one chocolate is 3.5 USD.

 

Here are Carres Dark Assorted and Carres All Assorted. 36pcs 67,000 won(56 USD) and 24pcs 47,000 won(39 USD) each. This time, I bought Carres All Assorted for Valentine's day. Among all the products, I thought it was good with price. Each is 1.6 USD.

 

This is Prestige Biscuits Collection. It has 32pcs and the price is 55,000 won(46 USD). One piece is 1.4 USD. I think this is also good for a present. Considering number of pieces and the price, it's reasobable.

 

There is Merry-Go-Round Waffle Assortment packed with pretty wrapping paper. It reminds me of spring. Its price is 10pcs 45,000 won(37.5 UDS). One piece is 3.75 USD. 

 

In Godiva shop, I can see G Cubes from USA. G Cubes has several tastes such as milk, dark, hazelnut, Caramel, etc. Its price is 16,000 won for 8pcs. 16,000 won is almost 14 USD. 1 piece is 1.7 USD. I haven't tried this chocolate yet. Next time, I am going to buy it for myself. It seems to go very well with a cup of coffee or tea.

 

Here is another product. This is Milk Chocolate Mini Pretzel from USA. Literally, it is pretzels covered with milk chocolate or dark chocolate. The price is 12,000 won (10 USD). It looks very delicious, too.

 

This is one of my favorite products in Godiva shop. It's soft ice cream. There were 2 kinds of soft ice cream. Double chocolate soft ice cream with macaron and just Double chocolate soft ice cream. The price is 8,700 won(7.3 USD) and 7,500 won(6.3 USD). This soft ice cream has rich chocolate and super tasty. Sometimes, I visit Godiva and enjoy this.
